Inside Scoop: Tiny Garden Book Developed Characters for Meek & Sequel In the Works

Those of you who've read both Meek and Tiny Garden, Big Trouble will see the same characters. I wrote Tiny Garden to develop the Meek characters. They illustrate the various experiences one might have in relating to our Lord and Savior, as none of us has the same experience with struggle or a hardened heart or for that matter, a restored heart. Only one of the three from Tiny Garden is raptured. The other two are remnants and will illustrate how God's provision is enough -how God is enough.

Writing a book is different than editing, publishing and promoting. The act of writing of a book is quite personal. It's just you and the paper -alongside a good cup of hot, sweet tea. I have enjoyed writing immensely. It's soothing to my soul to let out the stories. I have known for a while that Meek would be a series. So when I published and sent my little book out into the world for all to read -I was compelled to start the second book.

Book two will have more tough times and in particular for those who love our Savior. When one becomes meek or gentle with a heart for God, opposition is sure to press in. Persecution of the christian believer is a reality. And if I should say any more I might give away all of the second book.

When I wrote the beginning of Meek in 2012 I thought Jordan would be the primary character. However, it turns out that Pastor Ben is the main character. His issues and insecurities in childhood follow him into adulthood, as does his own guardian angel Mrs. Pansy.

If you have rated Meek, thank you so very much. Every star and every word touches my heart very deeply. I keep a list of all the kind words and they move me forward as I write each new chapter. I do love my fans -so very much!

I am looking forward to posting a preview chapter for the Meek sequel -in the coming months.
