Be light in a dark world. Be a star.

Stars twinkle in the night sky.

When you feel overwhelmed by the darkness remember that it is only dark, until the light comes in. The Lord created light to lead us out of the darkness and to him.  God is peace, love, joy, hope and wonder. He is kind, caring, humorous and thoughtful. He is just, righteous, and holy.

The stars in the night sky are the brightest on the darkest of nights.

Anything outside of the Lord is a false witness, deceptive and misleading. Deception is not of God. Anything -not of God-  is a distraction from him. There is no equal to God. Light and dark are not equal.

The stars radiate light, through the darkest night.

Darkness is not all knowing, all powerful nor ever present. It's presumptive, arrogant, entitled, and ignorant. Darkness is mocking, lonely, boring, judging and accusatory. Light is none of these things. Darkness may seem powerful, but it is not as powerful as light. Darkness can not overcome light. Light, even the smallest amount of light pierces the darkness.

The stars are a gift of hope.

The stars shine through the darkest night. If you love the Lord and know him -then allow his light to shine through you so that on the darkest night in this world others can see him. Be light in a dark world. Be a star.

"The moon and stars ...rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever"
