One of my loyal "Meek" fans asked a question. She wanted to know how I was able to be so detail-oriented.
Writing is an interesting process. It is very personal and expressive. I tend to be detail-oriented in life. I tend to be creative. The picture that I paint with words....say of the angels or demons or characters is built on the fact that we live in a world that is at war. Spiritual warfare is real. While I'm writing a fictional story, the world we live in is real.
We experience the world through our five senses. I wrote the book with the senses in mind. This creates the perception a character may have. Additionally, not being raptured would heighten the senses of a lukewarm Christian to pursue God or to defiantly turn away.
I prayed throughout the writing of Meek. It's been a wonderful process with the Lord. Knowing the Lord has changed my perception. God is so good! "Abide in me, and I in you..." John 15: 4
To all my Meek fans: I hope that you have enjoyed the book. Good news...Meek is the first in a series called the White Stone Chronicles. I'm in the process of writing the second book called Martyr.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! May you be blessed! God loves you.
